Day 2 of Exterior Remodel

The worker bees showed up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 6:30AM today to continue working.  The owner of the company asked if they could come in at 6:00AM, but I told them that Emma was feeling a little ill/worn out from her birthday weekend extravaganza.  A little piece of advice folks, if someone wants you to do something or go somewhere you don't really want to go, blame the kid.  Works every time.

 This is what the house looked like 1 hr after they showed up.

 Finished side view of today's work.  Siding down except

for the front of the house, some of the new insulation is up.

 The tiny bit of new vinyl siding they got up today.

 Front cricket now shingled and mounting strips for 

vinyl siding to cover the brick.

New cricket and shingles on back porch to alleviate leak there.  

So far it seems to be progressing well.  Anticipate that the majority of the siding is done tomorrow and new window is added.  The last thing to be done is likely to be the stone veneer to the front of the house.
